Hi all, got a customers range rover with non start problem, the vehicle immobilizer is ok,it spins over ok, plugged into my omiscan 2, it has three unknown codes,dtc3505--dtc 1260--dtc 09f6. owner said it had this prob once before but managed to start it with a jump pack even so it turned over on its own battery.any pointers please chaps?

think 1260 is vehicle mobilised, engine ecu and bcem are known to loose sync, is the glow plug light working? (common indicator of lost sync)

B1260 Solar Radiation Sensor Circuit Short To Battery
09F6(fuel rail pressure)

Hopefully someone will confirm

Oh and in tank fuel pump a known problem

check that you have fuel pressure, I'm guessing as I don't have my obd code list with me

As fanatic says the BECM (Body Electronic Control Module) under the drivers seat can "forget" the code issued from the engine ECU. With the right gear its a 2 min job to re-write the code. You will need a standalone Sync Mate, Faultmate or Testbook LR specific diagnotic gear if this is your problem. It is a P38 or MK2 Range Rover isnt it ?
