Hi Guys..as per the title.
I have a 2008 Disco 3, HSE with satnav.
Not with the car at the moment and don't have access to the handbook.

Can the destination entry be put in using Longtitude and Latitude figures if a "Postcode" is not available ??

Cheers folks

Hi

Think this is how u enter them

Press navigation button (left of two)
Choose navigation on road
Menu
Destination
Go to page 2 of 2 by pressing top left arrow
Choose coordinate option
Press option for w or e, n or s.
Enter latitude starting with two digit angle 01 to 90
Enter longitude starting with three digit angle 001 to 180.

Going down to the South of France in a few weeks and some of the places give their locations as co-ordinates and not "Postcodes".
I still have a Tomtom satnav which I can use but would rather use the inbuilt one.
From what I have seen as artillery fire using co-ordinates, they couldn't hit a barn door at 50 yards some of the time !!:D

Thanks for the replies Guys

Hi mate :)

Happy days , Good to hear I got something right for a change, lol

Not bad thks, mate , still pottering around on the D3 , got some winter projects planned

Running a separate supply from my aux battery to an internal fuse box, ie, so can run some electrical items without discharging my main battery , will also wire up some fused relays so items won’t be constantly on when I alarm the landy :)

Hope this message also finds u well :D

The D3 satnav like lots of older car sat navs is literally not worth a toss, handy for seeing what road you are on and thats it.
I genuinely believe a paper map is of more use.
TomTom all the way.
