Hi All, this is my 1st post so here goes.
My local independent dealer says the shock absorbers on my Disco need replacing (if you push the top of the car it rocks like a jelly) and they are suggesting I fit Monroe Adventurers as being a better shock.

With my work I do lots of road miles and some driving down farm tracks and across fields.

2 questions - Does anyone have any views on the Monroe shock?
They are avail on internet for about £120 for all 4. My dealer's best price is £165 so he says I can supply and he will fit for £100 +vat. Is this a fair charge for what is involved? Could I fit them myself. I have a reasonable aptitude but not too many tools.

Thanks all

Welcome neilT!

I aint personally used monroe shocks, but they do have a good reputation,

I can comment on De-carbon, Excellent!! completely transformed mine and i think they come in a bit cheaper aswell, there easy enough to do yourself, save yourself a few more squids!
