Problem with disco 2 V8

Hi, New to the site but looks a good site, About a week ago i bought myself a disco 2 V8, Got a few niggles to sort out but i love the car.

1st off when driving if you change gear under say 3k revs its fine the revs drop and a nice smooth gear change, But if you rev it higher 4-5k when you lift off it seems to hold the revs and makes for a bad gear change unless you wait for them to drop then change.

Would this be something to do with the throttle position sensor? or any ideas?

Similar problem to mine, but mine is speed related, take an age for revs to drop when travelling above around 35 mph fine up to that.

Not found a cause or cure yet, TPS has been changed along with lots of other stuff...

Nothing untoward on the diagnostics either...

Time to hit the red triangle

Bttt anyone with any ideas on this one?
