hi,
In high loads the pully of the pump is broken. I would like to know what is the typical power of this pump (watt) and rpm in order to redesign the pully using
Any particular type of vehicle with that?
2005 100 2.5 td5 but i know about other models with this problem
Still not much the wiser about the vehicle. Disco, Defender?
Anyway, at least we have established that it is a TD5 engine.
Out of interest, is it difficult to get a new pulley to replace the one that is broken?
And which pump exactly does said pulley drive?
I’m getting good at this , snigger

Well, if that is it. I doubt if anyone can design one from scratch for 53 quid plus postage.
And more too the point. How do you break that???

I wondered that , could an over tight belt cause that ??

wouldn’t have thought so, don’t they all have the tensioner pulley thingy?
maybe something wrong with the pump itself OPs description is not to good really.

I have not seen it myself. But do recall that these engines suffer from failure of the crankshaft pulley damper.
The damper must be there for a reason, and it could be that the reason is shock loads in the rest of the belt drive train.
That is pure guesswork, could well be completely wrong.
could be that pulley OP is on about, don’t they come in two sometimes? When they break up.
