Just came back from Belgium a round trip of 350 miles to find I have struck oil underneath where I parked up...Ah hang on my mistake got oil leaks from vac pump, rocker gasket, engine cyclone breather, somewhere up behind the pas pump and two injector seals leaking can't be sure if that's it as the whole engine is black and shiny.will clean off oil and check.breather system is clear so not sure what the hell happened as didn't thrash it just cruised at 65 mph.

Just a thought what are the chances that the head gasket has failed blowing chamber gases into an oilway or push rods.head gasket has no oil leaks and passed the sniffer test.

What happens if you remove the oil filler cap with the engine running? If it's leaking where you suggest it'll be huffing and puffing like a good un

I'd clean the oil off, let it all dry off, start up and see what happens. Then I'd change the cyclone breather thing and make sure when I put it into the engine I use some silicone sealer ... :)

Head gasket looks good no puffing or smoke from filler cap and breather cyclone is clear. sorted a few leaks out main big leak appears to be the vac pump now repaired.sump was soaked all the way round all cleaned off now not sure yet if sumps leaking or just the oil being pulled around in the vortex, due for an oil change anyway so not too bad.

Looks like I'm whipping off the sump next weekend.Leaking from several areas.just seen a cork sump gasket on eBay any good?.
