Hello all , after ordering a part from rimmer bros on the net , that came pretty quick , no qualms on that , there was a advert enclosed for a freelander parts catalogue , so I ordered one , for my facelift , a week later it turned up , a b/w temp for up to the year 2000 model :eek:, so when I rang them up to explain the guy did not want to know , we dont do a catalouge for the freelander its out of print , so I said why send me the advert , what adverts this he said ,its out of print , I felt its , cause I owned a freelander he did not want to know :mad: I said forget it and hung up I was :mad: what a nob :mad:
 
i recieved mine but it was a black and white photocopy with an apology saying it was being revised and the full colour revision would be sent as soon as it was available.

i've never had a problem with rimmers, they have always been spot on for me.
 
Found Rimmers to be very good in the past - have used them for almost 20 years since I restored a Spitfire, then dabbled with an MGF, now Discovery 1 & Freelander. When I was looking for some Spitfire parts they even let me have a rummage through their vast warehouse when I couldn't explain exactly what I needed. However - for the prices they charge - I should think so!
 
I've used Rimmers for a long time as well, since just after they started up. I first used them with my Vitesse - probably got to know them through the Triumph Sports Six Club. I still use them now we've moved over here, most recently for a crank seal for my son's Rover 220 Turbo. They're used a lot over here, people group together to buy stuff and save on shipping costs. They've always been OK with me.
 
As others have said. I've ordered literally thousands of parts from them over the last 20 years. I've had the odd wrong part sent in error, but it's always been corrected with an apology. On the whole I've been very pleased with the service offered.
