Have obtained EKA code from very friendly main dealer in Bristol.
No luck have tried all methods mentioned just cant seem to bypass imobiliser
Have had fob overalled i.e.lock button re soldered ,new battery and have been

Is there any other way PLEASE HELP. I have a DISCOVERY ES TDI Registered 01/08/95

1.click key to lock 4times then code
2.click key to lock hold for 5 secs then code
3.dealer suggested click key to unlock first

So U didnt't do the one from the book:
1. press unlock on the fob with starter switch turned on
2. press lock on the fob with starter switch turned on

By the way, during u introduced EKA did u get the signals from the alarm after each digit?

fanks for interest
key in start position and unlock and lock have worked in the past perhaps should have sorted then!
Had greenflag out last week not much help but did suggest fob overall
Dont know if signal worked after each digit sorry as i took it to an auto

fob used to work on doors untill recently
ALARM seem to develop a mind of its own going off for no reason and now no reponse from fob at all
red light is flashing now wether locked or not

Nr.1 is also mentioned but the condition is that the vehicle must be in an unlocked and disarmed state(that's handset resyncronisation) ......what I understand that yours isn't disarmed.

So now alarm is armed and no connection with the fob's signal(if it is any).........It seems u have to plug it in a testbook:eek:

at the moment the disco is unlocked as cant risk random activations, if I lock it manually it can go off, if I open the door it will sound for 30 seconds, need to bypass the imobiliser somehow.
