Please help!! the student restoration project

I can't find information about this car on many manuals. And from many searches I never saw any cars like this one before. I only saw in poster (the marine blue one) .
With a rough look There is no spare tire on the hood, side mirror on the wings, there are no holes for the heater on the wings. and canvas roof .
Which I now want to restore the engine of this car but my father has disappeared it.So he bought engine back. But I don't know what the original engine of this car looks like. And I am unable to obtain information for the above reasons. I want to make everything back to the original, such as the starter motor or alternator. I would like to ask everyone that which manual can I find the information of this car or engine ?. Is this engine the Land Rover series 3 engine ? And if not, can I put the equipment of the Land Rover series 3 engine to make it look like the Land Rover series 3engine ? And what are the cons by doing that ? What is the suffix letter on the engine and chassis mean ? I can't find the information about chassis with suffix "C" letter on any manual. Thank you very much

Looks like a series 3 manuals do a web search for smithies landrover will bring up a NZ site of interest parts catalogues and optional parts catalogue and other manual in pdf format.
