Guys, please help!

Is the part on the photo which I highlighted in red the same one as on the drawing marked number 7 (AQR710020)? If so, do you know if a PUMA part will fit a 2006 TD5? These are really surprisingly hard to find and come unreasonably expensive (200+ eur? :|)

I need to replace this panel as it is crumbling under the bolts and have been researching this for some weeks already with little progress :)

Really appreciate all help :)

Yes, that's it.
This is it HERE They are £28.50 The price goes up if you add nut plates. You can select different numbers of nut plates from the drop down menu. You can see your nut plates in your picture.

They do post abroad.
Just another thought. The YRM ones do not come with the corner support brackets. You will need to remove yours (if they are still in one bit) by drilling out the pop rivets. Or, fabricate some yourself. They stop the bottom of the panel, behind the rear wheel, flapping about.

Al, thanks a lot for the information! Will discuss it with my mechanic, he does some fabricating, so could be doable. A great link You've showed me! :)

No bother, mate. Hope you get it sorted. :) By the way, the folk at YRM are great to talk to and very helpful. It's a family run firm, mum, dad, son and daughter, so worth giving them a call to discuss what you need.

By the way, I've got no relationship or link to the company or family in any way! Only I bought a lot of stuff off them when I did my rebuild and they are good quality parts, decent prices and excellent service.

I would second that, great quality, and if there is a part that they do not do, they may be interested in making you one and then adding it to their stock list. Very helpful company.

I would third YRM - they were great with parts for my build even though I didn’t need much I was confused as hell, they helped me out!

I met them at the Scottish Land Rover show. Very helpful and explained everything then took £600+ off me!!! Really good quality parts.

sorry to resurrect an old thread - my td5 needs this same piece replacing - is it fairly easy to do at home (with little experience) or do you need to take half the back end off to fit it ?
thanks

No need to apologise for resurrecting a previous thread. It shows you've been researching your issue rather than asking something that has been covered many times before!
It's not that easy to fit if you have no experience, but it might be doable. The two issues will be that the back of the tub needs to lift up enough to slide the get the old bit out and the new part in. When you've got the bolts out along the back I'm not sure how much the tub will lift by with the roof and everything still in place. I suspect enough but, hopefully, someone else might have a better idea. I've only done mine during a complete rebuild so this one done with the tub off the Landy. The other issue is that the end of that crossmember (the two small corner bits at each end) are spot welded to the inside of the rear wings. So they need to be carefully separated from the wing.
