Plastic diesel tank on a 110, petrol?

Hi , is it ok to put petrol into a plastic diesel tank? I have fitted a V8 in place of the originla Td5.

Have you flushed the tank and changed the seals plus the sender might need replacing as petrol and diesel have different resistance weight " Specific Gravity"
