Passenger Front Door Problem

Hi

I have 1999 P38 DSE and the Front door wont lock on the key, locks manually and still operates the central locking, but wont open unless manually pulling it. Also the front Passenger side window will set, not a massive problem, just wonder if its related to the Control panel behind the door card? Any Idea's please ?

Not really sure what you mean? I take it you mean the door wont lock if you put the key it the lock and turn it? If thats the fault then i would think the linkage has come off the rear of the lock.Just take off the door panel and have a look. As for the window put the window up and down a coulpe of times but hold the button when its at the top and bottom for a couple of seconds, and this should set it.

strip the door card off n have a look at it, it may be a simple fix!!
