Morning all,

I'm changing the P gasket today as my landy has been leaking for a while.

I've got so far but can't seem to get the buggering PAS pump wheel bolts loose. Every time I try, is just turns round and I can't hold it tight enough. I've tried putting everything back together including the tensioner but it still doesn't hold it tight enough.

Any advice greatly appriciated!

try locking up the pully with a filter strap or a chain wrench be careful with chain though or see if you can get a air rachet on them to shock em off.
if you aint got an air rachet pop roung to a garage and ask em to crack the bolts for you someone will do it for a drink

Thanks for the reply. I tried a lot of things but couldn't get it to happen. I also found that one of the water pump bolts is seized in place so I put it all back together and dropped it at a mates this evening. Being the good mate he is, he's gonna grind the bastid bolt off the water pump and sorted the others out too.

For anyone else reading, I read that a strap wrench can do the job.
