I ordered some parts this morning from an online parts company and these had a £5 + vat delivery charge...fine. An hour later I realised I needed something else and this would have taken my order over the free delivery threshold. I phoned them up hoping to add these items and was told it couldn't happen even though they had not been dispatched yet. My fault I know, but now have to pay another £5 + vat and have no doubt they will come in the same box. Thoughts ??

I would like to say I have never done this...................BUT..................yes, I have had the same thing. Now I tend to have a list of stuff that I know will be needed, if not at that exact moment but in the foreseeable future and then I can always chuck them onto the shopping cart to get it over the threshhold.

Cheers

Unfortunately there does come a point where you have to look at quality.

Td5 injector washer and seals are a good point. £6 for cheapos which I was warned about or £40 for quality kit. Sometimes paying the extra is better even if you add the few extras to get it over the threshhold.

Cheers

Is this LR direct? If so they can’t add on stuff to an order as it’s all on line or something but you can cancel and reorder.

No. It's one I use and have never had an issue with. I don't want to name as the fault was mine really. Just venting my spleen and wanted some moral support :D Came to the wrong place though :(

I've suffered too, but recently one of them said that although they had no way of doing it in the software process, if they did arrive in the same box I should only be charged once. Lo and behold, that's what happened.
