i have a intermittent fail on the front PDC. Seems like it could be a connector?
To gain access to the front sensors do you have to remove the front bumper cover,
Anything I can try.
Symptom is warning continuous sound other times intermittent .

I was wondering the best way to get at them
2007 freelander2 HSE

to me it sounds like one or more of your sensors have failed.
to check your sensors activate them, then kneel in front of them one at a time.
good ones will tick rapidly broken ones wont tick at all.

Did cleaning fix it?
I have had experience with an s-type jag, I used a cheap mechanics stethoscope to check out the sensors, (£5 on eBay) but with the jag you have to drop the bumper covers to get to the sensors to replace them, pain in the butt

I am trying to find out if the FL2 is the same..i.e. You have to remove the bumper covers to get at the sensors, if this is the case sometimes there is a work-a-round.

These days I don't have anywhere to work so unless it can be done in the kerb, it's off to the dealers to be ransomed.

Had a fault on mine, couldn't hear any clicks on any sensors(front or rear) but that might just have been my hearing. Bought a code reader which directed me to the faulty sensor, replaced and sorted the problem for around the cost of a dealer to read the error codes plus an hours labour. Got the reader now for next time something goes wrong.

What code reader did you buy and what cost how did you change out the sender did the bumper have to come off?
I have a cheap reader (eBay) it's too cold wet and windy to try it today but I don't think it drills down to sensor level

It was the Icarsoft 930, bought for about £90. Rear sensors can be replaced without removing the bumper
