On our way back from holiday we stayed overnight in a hotel in Paris.
We had bikes on the back and so had booked a hotel with secure undergound parking - they assured us the disco would fit!

Well this is the picture of it parked in the bay 2 floors below ground - nice'n'snug.

Getting down there and back up was interesting - we had millimetres to spare on the ramps.

Just as well I didn't buy the 2" lift kit after all :)

Remember in one of my old standard 200's i ended going into a similar car park in the centre of london. it was about 50m along a one way road to get in... at the end of road was the height warning. 1.8m...

Great. No where to turn around, so i had to go in! The height sign scraped along the roof, but i finally managed to actually park!

There's a multi-storey in Newcastle that claims to have enough headroom BUT you can hit the roof backing into some of the spaces! Watch out for sloping roof beams.

Looking back I wonder if the only reason it fitted was because it had 3 bikes on the back and a weeks worth of luggage - not to mention a bunch of tools - well, you _need_ tools don't you :)

I wish I'd taken pictures of my wife's face as she spotted the decent into the garage - slow slow SLOW!

Did the opposite once with a Transit. Parked the back end over a kerb, loaded 16 kids in the back, drove off and took two kerbstones with me!
