Got a second hand alpine radio about 2 years ago now can’t find the poxy code does anyone know I’ve I could operate it without the code I’ve still got my original radio code but dealer won’t be able to help I’ve tried them radio code breakers on line but they say dealer or to a radio shop just thought mabey someone on here may have found a way round it I would rather put it back in than the new Sony Bluetooth I had in it for a while

May be a bit of an old wives tale but years ago.when scallies robbed radios they would put them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer for a few days to clear the code.o_O

I remember that. It worked for very specific radios. Might have been a brand fitted to some Fords? Seem to recall the chip that held the code was temperature sensitive and reverted to some default like 0000 when cold enough. Never saw it first-hand though so might have been BS.
 
Cheers for all the replies I’ve contacted a alpine code place will try the two codes they sent me tomorrow when home been away with work sorry for late response bit of concern over the two codes doesn’t fill you with confidence
