Hi folks
For the first time in years I'm driving my v8 further and further. One interesting thing since I sorted the water loss( skimmed the block) etc. On a long run it only reaches 73-74degrees c ( on the nano) which is not in the middle of the gauge. Before it reached the middle easy and usually read 80 plus.
I did put a new thermostat on it (heart valve) I also happened on a serck rad nos which was much Superior to the cheap crap usually available.
Very unusual but more in line with normal car temps. I even feel I could use an electric fan( Revo) at these temps.
Any comments? Am I out of enrichment territory.?

I think your reading to much into this its fine, I replaced my rad and have better cooling then before doesn't reach half way any more and if its sealed and not leaking its working well

at around 70 odd degC you should be out of the rich range and the engine will be at (almost) operating temps....I think the switching point is around 55-60degC as this is when most LPG system will switch over and run a bit leaner.
