p38 thor 4ltr pas pump rebuild or replace

hello all just noticed today squealing noise from pas pump or compressor to me with a screwdiver to ear sound like pas pump is this a servicable part ie can rebuild it or just replace it just as unsure which one has gone thought id ask here for info as i dont know

Best remove the belt and give the pulleys a spin

The pump rarely goes out, usually it is either the idlers or the tensioner bearing, the Compressor is another one.

The screwdriver test is a bit misleading especially on an accessory component which will make "A noise" because it is a pump

An automotive stethoscope is a better more reliable bit of kit..

but for now just drop the belt off,
