had a problem starting this morning had to put on the starter boost charger 180amp. fine got it started stopped it while working keys left in ignition started again fine
this afternoon came home stopped it took keys indoors, came out to restart. its not reacting to the key.
tried evac code its not having that
no reaction to open or close buttons
any clues
battery is 3 months old
think may have perished low pressure diesel seep as doesn't like to start if parked uphill if parked a day or so.

hi its not the battery it spins it over fine just spun it over too much this morning and flattened it a bit that's why I put on the booster charger wondering if this has blown something electrical on the way as
the key is not opening the central locking by the button or by evac
and the engine is not turning as its disabled

You have the engine disabled message on the dash then. You need to enter the EKA code to remove that message. If you can't enter the EKA code get someone with a Nanocom to go into the BECM and disarm the immobiliser until you find out what is wrong with EKA.

Problem is if key has lost sync it cannot be re synced until the engine disabled message has been removed by entering the EKA code. If the EKA will not go in only thing to do is go into BECM and disable immobiliser until you sort out why EKA will not work. The EKA can be entered with Nanocom as long as the BECM is PAM V36 or better to disarm the BECM. There is a label just above the fuses with the PAM number on it. If PAM number is previous to V36 Nanocom cannot be used for this function.

didn't open door caused lockout
amazing querks
sorted now
dam keys a nuisance keeps going out of sync, would that be cos I keep leaving it open, key indoors or away from car?

What version of RF receiver do you have? Under rear parcel shelf on driver's side. Blue, yellow or green dot? Actually think there is a version 4 and not sure what coloured dot that has.

Its the green dot one that's the latest updated receiver. Part No YWY500170. An eye watering £216 plus vat from island.

Marty reckons there's a new one with all the electronics on a single board. Mine has 2 boards at right-angles. Cannot remember if he said the colour had changed or not. He thinks it is the same, they just rearranged the components to fit on a single board like the earlier ones.

Don't know. Don't even know which one mine has but never have any problems with it.
