P38A Range Rover P38 Manual Diesel Engine Swap

Hi,

My P38 diesel manual engine is knackered. I don't have the facility to change an engine.

I am after anyone who can transport my P38 and swap engine for a 2nd hand diesel engine supplied and fitted also.

It will need a new clutch whilst engine is out and a filter housing as current one is cracked.

Car is 1995 diesel pre-EGR.

I am based in Crawley West Sussex.

Interested to hear did you make any good head way on your engine change? Did you look into an upgrade? M57 engine swap. Was looking Up this when came across this post.
afaik the m57 swap is usual mated to a manual as the auto struggles with torque and so engine doesn’t have to talk to auto box. This is the tdv6 engine In a p38 in case you don’t know.

Not made any headway so far probably going to hire engine hoist do it myself, didn't know you can upgrade the engine.
