P38 Heated Windscreen

Hi All,

Am enjoying my first Range Rover but have some small niggles that someone may have experience of.

Heated front screen does not work. have orange indicator in the switch when switched on, but does not clear the screen.

any ideas??

The first thing I would do is check that the 'screen is actually a heated one.. they're frighteningly expensive and the non-heated is a cheaper option!

check the connections at the screen itself they may have corroded

Mine doesn't work either except for a 2 inch wide strip on the passenger side.

Apparently they're not very reliable. Bit like everything else on the P38!

I'm just waiting for a nice big stonechip so I can get a new one.

Many thanks for replys.

Yes it is a heated screen (can see the element running through)

will try cleaning the connectors and see what happens.

Check the relays and fuses as well
