Hi All,

My P38 4.6, Having a reoccurring problem with Fuse 9, it keeps blowing and my front electric windows stop operating , I have replaced the fuse twice but want some advice on where the problem stems from .

Regards

Matthew

Check the wiring that goes in to the door from the pillar or for wiring catching on the window mechanism inside the door.

If the fuse doesn't blow immediately, it could be that the mechanism is rusted up overloading the motor.
Hey mate, So I thought it might be the window sticking but its not that . I applied some silicone and its running freely but still the fuse popped . I had the car off and went to replace the fuse and she gave a big pop and blew the fuse right away (20amp). Im not sure what my next move should be . Any ideas? Thanks

Finding the dead short you have i would think. Fuses 9 and 22 service both front door out stations. Which window operation caused fuse to blow initially? Strip that door card and find the short.
