Hi All, I'm new to the forum, so please forgive any lapses in etiquette. I've tried searching on this, but can't find any answers.
I'm trying to get the N/S front hub off my 95 4.6 HSE, but it appears to be welded tight. Does anyone have any useful tips or tricks? It's been doused in WD40, whacked with a hammer as best I can, and I've even tried applying a bit of heat to the hub carrier, though not too much as I don't want to destroy the bearings or any of the rubber seals close by.
I need to get the hub off to replace the driveshaft oil seal, which is leaking.
