p38 few small probs pls help

hi everyone i have just brought a really nice 1996 4.6 hse rr overall im happy with it just a few small probs (hopefully lol) i will list them and if anyone can help that would be great
1. front doors dont lock/open of key fob
2. it says sunroof not set on display
3. the heaters get warm but not as hot as they should
4. the roof liner is sagging at the back
that is about it also can anyone tell me how i can find out who the lpg was fitted/made by as cant see any name/company on any of it anyway any help would be much appriciated thanks in advance
 
sunroof not set is easy

open it all the way then shut it again in one move this will reset the trap function and get rid of the message.
windows do that same if battery is disconnected

door lock could be fuse or accuators in door do the back ones open off the fob
headlining, have pulled mine down a bit fitting dog guard but it when back up ok

maybe loosen some trim and push it up then refit trim

re LPG, " not my bag babe"

but theer are several other members on here you know a lot about it
expect they wil be along shortly to help out
 
right interior lights sorted also sunroof didnt work first time but had a play and has now cleared the msg so all good and yes the rear doors do open so think the actuators are had it if i get the card of is it as simple as giving them 12v to see if they move or not also any ideas on the heater etc thanks
 
follow the wires and tube(s) for the gas system and you will eventually come across the ecu for it. this is gonna be the bit that you will find info on. theres also a vapouriser, this will also be well documented once you find the make and model.

once you have found those items, take some pics and post em and i'll try and id them if theres no labels!
 
usually the actuators can be revived by cleaning connections and stripping em down to free off the internals, a job for a warmer day tho i think but it doesnt take long. a couple of hours and you should have them sorted!!


the heater, is there a book on the heater display, does the passenger side get warmer?

can you change from warm to cold?

it could be blend motors or just airlocked!
 
hi again rite ive sorted out what i wanted to know about the gas its a e-gas lpg system and found out what i wanted to know so thanks for that and as for the heater it switches to cold and then back to hot ok but seems to get hot for a split second then just stays warm and its the same on both sides ive had a look and it looks like its had a new rad recently could an airlock cause this and if so how do i get rid of it or any other ideas please thanks
