hi there can any body help, changed the battery on me p38 dt today due to battery drain and yes now its broke,
when you enter the EKA code there is nothink happening at all no indecator flash no dash light flash
ive changed the door catch checked all the wiring and the plugs ,but every time i enter code 4 left then right then left then right then left then one right press button then try starting it, it just says Alarm triggered, engine immoberlised, press remote or enter key code
can any body please help i dont know what else to try or do and need it running again

no it was already dead flat so put a new battery on it, its been stood for 6 weeks due to turbo letting go and it drained the bloody thing fitted new turbo and put new battery on aswell and now wont start

i was ferkin around with mine, turn key in ign to position 2, press the fob button then proceed to start.

it worked for me although the battery wasnt detached it just got confused.

make sure each turn is all the way over and back top vertical

will try the turn key to position 2 then push button but at the moment the key fob wont do any think just flashes led tryed re sync in door but still no joy. car is getting beyoned a joke owned it nearly 4 years and never had a problem with it at all. yet in the last few weeks the turbo blew , air con packed up , batterey died now this EKA prob if i cant get it working its going to be broke for spares worst case

calm down, where do you live, maybe someone local can help!
just looking at worst case im in ashford kent
will pay some one gladly to get it running as i need to use it so i can do the clutch in me rrc offroader any one want a challange lol:D

Hello mate, when you enter the eka code you need to turn the key to the rear of the car and back, before you enter your code ,then once you have entered your code turn the key once more to unlock the car that should sort it providing you have the correct code , have you used the code before??,,(do you have owners hand book? )if this still dose not work look on rr.net, i remember there being a generic code of 151 eka, try that, i'm in sidcup if you still having problems i can pop down sunday, if thats any help .. Rob

the generic code is for NAS spec cars, and its 1515, some uk spec cars get changed to this when problems occur via testbook etc. makes it easier to get in/remember!!

hi there yes im putting 4 turns to the rear first entering the code confirmed by my local dealer then finishing with the turn to the right never had to enter a code before and i have changed about 3 batterys on it in the past due to slow discharge if you could help be very gratful

feckin hell, the code wont go in without the windows set!!!!

roll em all the way down then all the way back up in turn till it says e.g RH FRONT WINDOW SET on the msg display!!!

plonker!!!

take apart the door lock mechanism, then use a multi meter to test if all 3 switches work.

one of my switches was stuck. so i prodded it around with the test probes and ive got mine sorted now.

have fitted new drivers lock mech does it matter about passenger and rear mechs all worked fine before batterey died never had probs at all

one thing that does concern me is the fact its got an after market immoberliser would cause any interferance when entering the EKA code if the window thing dont work that is :D

you will know if its the after market kit, the windows will work on one touch and the central locking will work from the fob but the immob will still keep the engine disabled!!!

also if you hold the lock button it 'should' roll up the windows if left open!!!
