I was recently offered 1,800 for mine (a local we buy anything type businesses, the owner wanted it to tow his trailer) and it is in pretty tired condition. If it wasn't for the fact I love it, I'd have sold. I imagine a tidy late V8 would fetch way more than that.

Have you got it yet, if not why not:D
ok update left it there still undecided  to me p38s are a bit like meeting up with a ex girlfriend.,they catch & have a twinkle in there eye, tempting.......then after some thought you realise why you parted company in the first place. anway my last personal 38 (not counting a few ive sold inbetween) was as you know no6 vogue 50, this 2001 thor vogue is not nowhere near in the same league/class inside & tbh it looks basic.time was getting on & light was fading so heres what I found & a quick summary,

started well from cold no misfires etc warmed up & switches to lpg fine,
no ticking except the usuall lpg injectors & no signs of overheating
silver grill & the the 38s not silver ?
no blacked out windows
doesn't look gangster/drug dealer owned
9 or 10 months mot
fully colour coded with correct inserts in door rubbing strips
slight corrosion lower bottom tailgate,
rooflining good sunroof lining not so good also sunroof don't/wont open,
lpg guage not working checked tank in wheel well (90 ltre stako) needs new clock so easy,
lettering missing off bonnet so obviously had work there
srs light on
eas all good quite & fast
,hk system & sat nav works fine,
hevac book symbol displayed so needs investigating althhogh heaters blow hot/cold
no wet carpet
rocker covers leaking
biggest concern is all the interior is grey (carpet ,door cards, console, seat bases etc etc ) but the front & rear seats are lightstone with red piping prob from a county or Bordeaux so will need replacing look cr*p imo
side steps good
5 x 20" l322 vogue alloys with ok tyres(no probs there)
detachable swan neck
cats not rattling
common aux belt idler/alternator noisy but has stood a couple of weeks
fair amount of paperwork/reciepts

& that's my quick browse over prob nip out of work today if quite & take a better look/ drive to my place & get it up on the ramp
