hello just joined am looking for a DMF and clutch for my 97 p38 diesel manual bit expensive for all new around £600. Anyone out there breaking or has the parts I need

DMFs are the most ridiculous thing ever invented, designed to bankrupt vehicle owners. I take it from your signature you like to be off road. You have chosen a expensive vehicle to repair to do that with. Unfortunately you cannot stay in top class hotels at camp site prices.

DMF + clutch for £600? Thought DMF alone was twice that?
Or you going ****part milk bottle top clutch kit??

Once you open that gearbox up and see fork assemblies and bushings needing doing would think price will shock you. Did me

Ebay is your best bet for parts. How long it will last I don't know. It is a lot of work pulling it all out to do it again.

Clutchfix or Rakeway Motorsports will do a single billet for you but they'll need the ring-gear off the existing flywheel. I think you'd do biting the bullet and getting the LUK DMF though. CP do a clutch kit although Clutchfix will also sort you out.

Check my clutch thread. When you've got the box out check the bushes on the clutch-fork lever. They should be Teflon coated and if you pull it out the first bush it should still be a close fit and not wobbling about in the second bush.
