Evening folks,
looking for advise, recent event history, Friday , driving home car at correct ride height, alarm on dashboard, EAS fault, turned into slow 35mph, used eas software repeatedly, all heights and pump fine, all the system was refurbished 12 months ago, the fault reset and I did 25 miles perfect without incident, next went out again and then "select neutral" warning came on , followed by "slow down", I read it was the hi lo selector, I pressed the button on the dash to check, it went into low range, and when I select high it indicates high on the dash but is still in low, any ideas much appreciated, is it possible an ECU fault under the passenger seat as it too much of a coincidence for faults like this to appear, thanks in advance.

cheers , thanks for the advice, needed a starting point, this is my day to day motor , seem to be spending every weekend on a least one of the motors, still , rather land rover than some disposable mode of transport!

Yes, battery is fine, 3 months old, had hi low motor off, that is ok , ecu looked ok, no burn or water marks, no dry joints visible, could with decent electrical schematics

Problem sorted, the fan on the auto gearbox cooler was constantly running, pulling the system voltage down! The fan has been disconnected, because i have a manual gearbox and its not needed, head scratching over something simple, thanks for the advice folks

So your oil cooler is under your bumper corner behind your fog lamp?
I thought the manual version was in the main rad??
Has yours been converted to manual?
Glad it's sorted, all shifts from hi to low?;)

Best not to ask further questions about this sounds a bit Heath Robinson. ;):D:D

Autogearbox fans? You mean the aircon fans?

It was a conversion at new , the fan under the front left is not piped in, but it still had an electrical supply to it, that had switched, Heath Robinson has never been to this post code!
