c/c not working, d/board switch lites when pressed, found + replaced vacuum pipe that was split, but still no joy (its the only thing thats not working,,,,aaarghhh)help please

mine had two brake pedal switches, one for brake lights,one for cruise.
the switch may be faulty or cruise control inverter or ecu down load "rave" from green oval

same problem i've got. You need to go through thr Rave troubleshooting procedure as fanatic suggests.

The CC fault finding section is very good on RAVE. Just go through it step by step and you will eventually come to the cause and fix. DON'T be tempted to jump a step.

I have replaced the vacume pipes and the brake pedal switch and it still doesn't work - I have read the fault section on Rave, and it totally bemused me. As the pipes were totally shot, I suspect the next thing to check is the pump has not burned out, is there an easy way to check this without reverting to a multimeter (these also confuse the hell out of me)?
