I've been looking to put light grills on my Tank, and started looking at various sites.
I was advised to make sure I got the brackets and screws for them too... but I just took a look at my lights and there are no (visible) screws holding them in, its possible that the lights are not original and may have been upgraded... so, how the hell do I mount grills if there is nowhere to screw them in?

The light guard attachment points are external to the headlight units. On mine there are brackets for the light guards which are bolted through the body panel. The official way of fitting them is to mark/drill holes in the bodywork and fit rivnuts/nutserts in which then are used to bolt the brackets to the vehicle and then the light guards have security screws to fix them to the mounting hardware.

I have heard of some versions of light guards having the brackets attached to the bodywork with strong double-sided tape, so no drilling is required.

Yeah, I'd find it hard to take a drill bit to the bodywork on my one too... luckily mine came with them already fitted, and all the various bits already drilled - obviously years ago... I just tidied it all up and got fresh screws etc...
