I'd have a look at the thermostat for the cause of your running cool problem, looks like it could be stuck open, does it take quite a while for the heater to blow out nice warm air?

The EML light when you take your foot off the gas is caused by a fault within the injection pump, I've had this on a Vauxhall Omega, changing the pump cured the problem, expensive!! pumps aren't cheap!! but don't take my word for it, get it checked by a diesel engineer before you spend wads of cash!

nice one bru! kinda confirmed what i suspect as the code seems only applicable too pump failure or mass air flow meter may just leave it for a bit but on the good side its the same as some bmw engine so should get discount on a new pum as long as there the same will do thermostat sunday see how it goes
