As the title says, what parts do I need to buy apart from obviously the head gasket. First new bolts - are they necessary ? Also RAVE (as usual) describes the dismantling process in various places as remove & discard, so it could be a lot of small gasket that need to be replaced - or do they ??

Before I spend on parts I don't need (as usual) can anyone advise me please - thanks.

Who would be the best to buy the parts from on-line, ta again.

If your going to do the job properly you will need top end set and a head gasket. Bit expensive at around £90.00 depending what you plump for, but that's the way of the world these days. I take it you will be doing a top end service. Valve grind, stem oil seals, decarb whilst you have the head off. A bit of a waste of time if you don't. New stretch bolts are always recommended, not always needed, but better safe than sorry. You should pick up all you need OEM for about £120.00 or so. Yeah you can use some gaskets again if you have the magic silicone, but some items you can't use twice.
