P2263

Hi all, I'm new to defender ownership and am struggling to get the bug at the moment. I bought a 2012 90 2.2 with the dreaded dpf. Mistake perhaps. Anyway, I keep getting an occasional p2263 code and limp mode. I can reset hut am worried I'm may damage something. 108k miles. Something tells me I need a new dpf. Any thoughts? Thank you all. Andy

Never had a tratter so don't know about their dpf's. My FL2 has one. If yours needs a regeneration then take it for a drive at 50mph to see if it empties. Dpf's are not as bad as peeps make out. Like everything they have occasional faults.
