I have been having overheating probs and decided to renew all the coolant hoses as most were perished or had nicks in where they had caught the pulleys, I also replaced the ejector pump as these are known to be faulty too.
I spent most of the day today trying to get rid of an air lock which was at the very top of the outlet heater hose where it dips under the water pump to stat housing pipe. Only after a few hours trying I noticed a leak coming from behind the water pump housing. Looks like I need a new P gasket and this is probably causing me all the grief!
Just need to know if it's the black one I need which as far as I know replaces the old paper gasket and also should I use any sealant on it when I fit it or is it a rubber crush type?
Also same question but for the water pump gasket.
Thanks in advance,
Jon
