My Def 90 has got a 3-4" rust hole in an outrigger which will become 6-7" when cleaned back to clean metal.
Its the front nearside, and the back surface.
Access in situ, is impossible. The rest of the chassis `appears` ok........... so far
So what bodywork do I have to remove to get good access to it?
I`m looking to plate it, but if a lot of panels have to be taken off, might as well get a new outrigger.
Is it sensible/possible perhaps to lift the whole body intact from the chassis and do the work that way?
Any thoughts welcome :)

I only removed the radius arm when i replaced my o/s front outrigger, shouldn't be much different for the n/s? the hardest part is removin the remains of the old one, but it just requires patience new one is handy to stick on with a welder.

Yeah, thanx for the replies guys. Looks like it can be done the easier way.

Helpful link MrJC, I remember it first time round now. :)
Just wish I lived in or near Bolton!
Oh well, the search begins for a welder like you found, in the Norwich area.
