Now, forgive me if im wrong..

Top gear wrecking 10 *brand* new cars to play football with...

is this wrong?

I can think of plenty of people who cant afford 7 grand for a motor, and
they go and write off loads for fun?

Thoughts?

Mark.

it.

Wot? So we all then end up paying more to jail someone for not paying
their telly licence?

Are they brand new, proper showroom cars? Or ex-press hacks,
pre-production testers or other stuff otherwise bound for the crusher?

Absolutely fantastic TV, if you ask me!
Lets face it, we'd have been really upset (justifiably so) if they'd played
the same game with rangie sports now, wouldn't we?

Yep, trying to blow one up with a Challenger 2 was much more
entertaining! I watched that bit three times in a row. Magic.

Indeed, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't let the Stig loose
in it, that would have been interesting.

Repeated Tuesday 7pm on BBC2 England, Scotland and NI. Wales (as usual)
gets something else - a programme about an attempted assassination of Hitler
this time. Thank God for Sky.

Yeah, next time the ref should be in the Challenger 2. That'll make
it a bit more entertaining.

As for believing what you read in the press, what a novel concept!

Mind you I read a story today about the 12, 14 and 16 year old sisters
who have all dropped sprogs that they've then named T-Jay, Lita and
Amani, they don't know the fathers and their single mum blames the
school. I feel a cull coming on, I need that Challenger 2.

Well folks, as they say Land Rovers always get there first!!!!

I have somewhere a copy of a picture one of the original members of the
Land Rover Owners Club lent me showing, IIRC, series ones playing
'football' with an enormous and apparently quite heavy ball. Probably
dated from the late 50s possibly early 60s ...

Now where did Top Gear get the idea I wonder ...
