osf headlight seems dim

hey guys new to all this.

will start by saying just two days after buying my 1.8 k series i had hgf. witch the garage repaired. and now have a rattleing noise at 3000rpm witch they are also sorting (not sure what it was myself).

the bit that has realy got my is the osf head light ive put a bulb in and it still seems dim, sometimes if i flash my main beem it will work most of the time it wont,

any ideas dub.......

bad connection and or a bad earth to the body, or a bad earth between body and subframe/engine
