Hi All,
I have a 88-inch hardtop (1981 petrol) and am insuring it as a company car. However, to know what the company car benefit will be I need to provide standard CO2 emissions and what the original list price was. Does anyone have any idea please?

You can check the co2 figure by going on the www.gov.uk website and check if the vehicle is taxed (using the reg number) but I suspect it pre-dates the use of co2 figures and will probably show "not available".

According to Motor Magazine article from 1973 a new SWB series 3 was £1226.50. I'll see if I can dig out a more recent (closer to 1981) article for you.

I have found an article from the June Issue of Car Magazine which says a Petrol SWB county Station Wagon costs £8647. Which it goes on to say is 5% more than the base model. my basic math makes a base model about £8236. I could send you a photo of it if it helps.

That would be amazing, thank you very much.

As promised.
