Disco 1 Opening sealed sunroofs

Suprise suprise I also have leaking sunroofs only prob is someone has had a go at it already mastic sealant between the glass and seal not sure what's going to be the best way to open them(electric) without wrecking something ?.

Well it depends on the strength of the stuff that was used to seal, if it was to sealed with the intention to be permanently sealed and never to be opened again.
U could remove the class, it’s only four screws to release the glass, u may be able to lift the glass out complete with the sealer and the rubber factory seal as one unit perhaps with the assistance of a sharp knife.

But then perhaps not, it’s only the person doing the job can decide... if not sure better to get someone who is as the glass can go... Bang! As I found out when i threw one into a skip
