Work done today
Took out rear sunroof seal and cleaned runners and seal and replaced because of leak. found rubber seal had come out in corner I took out front sunroof the other day and resealed it also regassed aircon as I had to replace aircon compresser awhile back. I have got rocker gasket and front hub to change this week as I'm trying to evict those amigo's again and hopefully put headliner back in shortly also replacing both offside door locks soon as they don't unlock with the fob.

That'll keep you busy, and to think, you probably used to have a bit of time on your hands. Bet before you owned a Landy you never thought you'd always be kept busy fixing bits n bobs.

I had a 300 tdi disco before this one. The td5 is a lot more work than that one. I could work on the td5 for 6 months solid and there would still be work to do.

The 300 series disco is only great it looked after.
I've only had two broken parts to replace on my disco, one was the infamous MFU which was my fault as I overloaded it one winters night and the other was the water pump bearing failing requiring a replacement pump. Other than that it just the annual service, plus pads, tyres and batteries some times, no rust, no welding, no water leaks hence thats why I've owned it for 19+ years.

I need to start replacing bushes at some point but not sure which ones to begin with I did most of the ones when I had the tdi but I want to get my own bush press as it was a lot of messing around and time consuming last time.
