Wish I still had my IIA 109 Truck Cab. I loved that Landy.
Unfortunately, a **** in an Escort RS2000, who thought he was a rally driver, killed it.

My first disco 200 tdi, Sally. She was brilliant on road and off, til the trailing arm snapped off and the local LR specialist?? reattached it at an angle (whilst offering to buy it off us for the engine) , so you had to always be steering to the left to compensate. Major MOT failure as well as needing welding, so bye bye sally. ( NOT to the specialist tho!;) nowadays I'd keep her and fix her, just need a time machine :D

I wish I never traded in my Escort Van and just made up the £500 I got in trade. She wasn't everyone's cuppa, but I loved that little van, every time I see one I covert another, but none will be like R24COJ. :(

I don't think I'll miss my RR anywhere near as much when she goes.

JXW 516,I had so much fun in this motor, 1948 on the log book and I paid £200 for it, it had been at a cricket club for many years just too tow the gang mower.
The rebuild was a piece of cake as there was no rot and nothing was worn out.
My Montesa Cota just fitted in the back, many happy hours up the woods and lanes, top down all summer.
I would of restored it back to original by now.

I do like this S1.. I think my next project will be an 86" with a TDI, I had a 86 with a v8 and overdrive which I used to trial at weekends and go to work in the week. To think of all the old Land Rovers I've had and sold without thinking about it because you could pick up a series one any time for a few hundred quid.

When I got her she had a high comp V8 in her but was to expensive to run....hence she became a TDI, good times ....

The kids nicknamed it Scar, 'cos of the number plate. Sold to some chaps from London, if anyone knows who has it, and if it's for sale, let me know!

It's only a Series Three, but we had so many great times in that one .. the kids grew up with it, learnt to drive, the wife drove it once and vowed never to again! Had led a hard life but we treated it nicely, played with it, fixed it, got it running nicely with all bits on it working, 'cept the heater .. never could get that to work!!! ;)

i wish i had never let my mum borrow my range rover 2 door it was the range rover i learnt to drive in at 7 years old saved up my money by 10 i owned it and my mum borrowed it and sold it same with the 109 6 cylinder she replaced my range rover with she sold that to i wish i could get those 2 back all the other land rovers i have owned i still do cause they are part of the family and i will be selling my gf before i sell my toys (even though she says i have to many)

Should never have sold my series II - looked completely original inside & out, but under the bonnet lay a ford 3.0 v6 essex engine. Used and shockingly abused on a daily basis, embarrassed to say it was rarely serviced but it didn't let me down once.
