Refitting the piston oil squirts back into my block after strip down. When I removed them they 100% had no washers.
The Manual says they do for a 200tdi - not for a 300tdi.
The ESR1557 kit has the attached washers ( see pic)
The ones that look like the right ones don’t fit on neither the squirt nor the banjo bolt. And in fact none do.
Do I need them as they squirt seem to be chamfered to fit the hole in the block anyway!
anyone know what all the washers are for ? Especially the ones that come in 3. the rubber ones I know about.
thanks !

Oh, and I've also had lots of cooper washers left over everytime.
Annoyingly, injector washers aren't in the kit or a sump plug washer.

The defender 200tdi manual shows washers fitted which look similiar to what you have

Yep that’s what I thought but they don’t fit. I have ordered the part numbers from the parts book so will update when they arrive today hopefully. Could be a crap gasket kit as there are 4 bolt and 4 squirt washers with different numbers. The ones in the kit are all the same

Update on this. Washers have turned up
The Afu1879L and afu1887L are not in the stc1557 gasket kit. The 8 in the kit shown above post are slightly different.
Anyway! They don’t seem to fit exactly. I am guessing they are collapsing copper washers that just push against the recess in the block and the banjo to the squirt. 300tdi didn’t have these so am wondering if I will actually fit them. They were definitely not on when I dismantled. Photos below of the block recess and the squirt with washers and banjo. I wonder if the chamfered edge will actually seal with the copper washer in between the squirt and the block. Confused !

Edit.
I have fitted one oil squirt and torqued down to 17nm and removed to look at. pic below. The copper washers collapsed as thought. Still not 100% sure the bottom washer will actually seal against the block. Anyway. Here goes
