low oil pressure? return pump problem?

If the light is only on at idle then it points to worn main/big end bearings
Just a thought before you hit the panic button, change out the oil pressure switch, I have seen quite few go down over the years and give false readings @ idle...very cheap too

PS and also change the oil and filter, you never know she may have the wrong oil, too low a viscosity, and /or the filter maybe a cheap pattern one restricting flow...I always do the simple things 1st
