oil leak

well my td5 disco 2004 passed its MOT today but there was an advisory of 'oil leak' when I asked them they said there was oil on the bell housing, now only a couple of weeks ago it had a new clutch fitted, could this be related? I spoke to the guy who changed the clutch and he said it was a common problem with them is this true?
anyone any idea or had similar?

Not as much with td5s but 300 tdi's rear crank main seal leak like ****!

Every td5 I've seen has oil all over the show.

Tis normal, they leaked from new often.

mine must be special then or there no oil in her!

Oil leaks from the top/rear of the engine can run down the back and look like a bell-housing or rear main oil leak.
