Oil In Strange Area

Went to change my air filter and noticed a patch of engine oil around the seal at the top of the air box, where the larger air intake pipe connects to.

anybody have any idea how/why its got there?

i spoke to a mechanic who said the oil seals on my turbo are probably on there way out, but im no mechanic so i thought i should check on here first!
