When I bought my series it had the 2.5NA diesel engine fitted. Originally it was petrol but it was changed at some point in the past to the 2.5na, I have bought a new galvo chassis and I am a bit reluctant to start chopping it up to fit the 2.5na so my question is this, Is the 2.5na much better than the 2.25 diesel that should drop in? Im not bothered about going fast because I have my Jag for that lol Thanks

my 3 swb has the 2.25 (with od) and it is fine for me pottering about, like you if I want to go fast or long distance I use a fast and comfortable car.

had a 110 2.5 na a couple of decades ago and it was gutless, could be just because it was lwb c.f. short. but I can't see there being much difference between the two about town

Would it not be possible to make up engine mounts that fit the 2.5 na onto the series chassis as you all ready have that motor ?

Unfortunately because of the position of the fuel pump on the 2.5na cutting of one form or smother is needed. I think. I may go with the 2.25 instead.
