Have been getting a knocking/clunking from underneath when turn (intermittent) the mechanic thinks its coming from the rear offside anti roll bar, has anyone else had a similar problem or any other ideas as to the problem ? Hi Gunna,

We have got a similar noise and after lots of research I have found out that it is the ACE short arm and this means according to the workshop manual that a new anti roll bar is needed as it comes as one thing. If it had been the ACE long arm you could have just bought that. If you look underneath at the anti roll bar on the drivers side you can see the short arm trace it across to where it stops about a third of the way across and the ACE long arm starts and goes the rest of the way over to the passenger side. Near the beginning of the short arm are bushes or bearing that might be replaceable but I am not sure & according to manual possibly not? If you happen to find out please let me know. I hope this helps?

Kind regards

Might be the back door - there's a lot of weight on it and they can clunk if not really tightly adjusted. Mine does.
