OS/R central locking fault
Hello all,
I have had a search for this problem but cant find anything in here that matches my exact issue.
I have a 2004 L322 the offside rear door has decided that it wont unlock on the fob, or the button on the dashboard.
I can unlock it by pulling the handle on the inside.
When I lock it with the fob or button it will lock. Then wont unlock .
Any ideas?
I assume I've got to pull the door card off but what fron there?
Thanks in advance.

Could be a broken wire between the door and the B post. Easier to pinpoint the problem with diagnostics.

I've just had a quick look. I can hear the central locking doing its thing in the door when locking and unlocking. It's just not unlocking the door but will lock when the key etc is pressed.

If you can hear the actuator trying to operate, it may just be something like the grease has gone hard or the latch mechanism is rusty. Need to pull the door card and take a look.

I've disconnected the battery and pulled the door card off.
From what I can see, it's all ok and seems to be moving freely. Currently scratching my head.
