Ive just done a 220 mile round trip to the east coast today (withensea, wont be going there again) and my arse is killing. Do all the freebie seats have such poor padding or do the upmarket leather seats cosset you a bit more? My seats are the cloth ones with a dodgy patern that looks like someone threw up on them.

ooooeerrrr, remind me never to go there:eek: :D As for the seats, they aint the comffiest, try going from Scotland to Cornwall!!!! Mines were the same as yours. If ye think they're sore, try the defender one's!!!!!:D

I like the defender, i had a 90 with disco seats and a BMW 328i engine, it was fast and comfy but i couldnt do with the " window all the way down " or the " window up and the praying mantis position " unless i just have big elbows.

Done once a 500 kms day trip and no problem at all (have the leather seats), in fact for driving in general I prefer the FL over the Mercedes 190E I owned before, better visibility, better seatposition, better seats, less noise at 120 on motorways etc....

I have the leather interior and i must say that it is very comfy, i drove from merseyside to scotland and my arse was great, my back was a bit sore though, the only thing with leather interior is that it can get very sweaty, lol

I've done several 200+ mile journeys and a couple of 500+ mile days in my Freelander and never had any problems with comfort. Therefore, based on my experience and stature, you're obviously either too tall or too thin...

Cheers

Rog
